What do you guys like about forums?

Hey guys,

So I am asking today, what do you guys like about forums?

Please can you try to expand on your opinions & thoughts as I am doing this for an essay's content, so I really need help (not stuff like "the people" or "sik banta" please try to expand upon your opinions)

So you like them because they are so addictive?
The new threads & posting opportunities suck you in, more people to talk to and more new people to converse with about various different topics?
 
Social Mediums and usernames in general. I have a weird addiction to short usernames that can only be fed here. Otherwise I don't really like forums. One of the only places you find nerds with inflated egos. Absolutely disgusting.
 
Forums are a great way of learning new things/sharing knowledge. Also the market place interests me, I barely use it but I like to look around. I also like helping people out if they're not annoying.
 
I have opportunities to make money on forums, which is something that I really enjoy.
Also they are pretty cool to browse and use

At least you have managed to succeed in your feeding your addiction, although I didn't realise you sell them. This has been actually very helpful and thanks a lot for that.

Could you possibly elaborate on why you find them cool to browse / use? Thanks for the other reply though.
 
the helpful people are great and if you have questions people are always here to help you answer them
