As for shields, personally I wouldn't bother, div/ely outclass dung shields imo.

also keep in mind you might want to keep tokens for off-hand weps when EoC goes live. I have no idea what they'll cost but I'm guessing 200k tokens each. Duel wield rapiers will be insane DPS. Same with duel wield X-Bows. I think off hand dung weapons will be worth saving some tokens for.
 
I don't really want to spend that much for a shield though :/.. Are those the only shield you have in mind that outclass the Chaotic Shield? If so you might just end up setting my mind on the XBow

And the EoC comes in in a few months so I'm sure I'll gain more tokens by then.
 

Dungeoneering shields don't cost 300M or 185M respectively.

If you've narrowed it down to these three, I recommend Longsword for PvM or Crossbow for PvP.
Shield would be something to get later on, imo.

Yes very true, if the cost is an issue then sure a shield from dung would be the way to go. Choosing one is hard since they all belong to different combat styles.

I haven't bought any of the shields from dung, I wont pretend to have experience with them and make an uninformed recommendation. Personally I like non degradable items. If there was a non degradable rapier/CCS that cost the same as divine I'd be like screw dung I'll focus on making cash and eventually buy it.

Tbh I love my ely, it's not style specific like all dung shields (no penalties for any combat style), it doesn't degrade, and it's damage soak is nice, and it's sexy!

Edit: If you're bringing in plenty of tokens I don't think you have much to worry about, it's pretty rare to hear someone complain about chaotics. Choose what you'll enjoy the most.

Ok thanks I should maybe put that I've already got the rapier too >.>

They don't really degrade though, All you have to do is pay 2m like every week or 2 (varying of course) to use it :3..
 
Yeah true the cost of maintaining dung weps shouldn't be an issue, I'm confident what you'd earn from loot would more than cover the costs.

Anyway I wish you all the best with whatever you decide to go with. I'm sure you wont be disappointed since you're making an informed choice. Just make sure you wreck what ever stands in your path with your chaotics and have fun!
