I'm getting married in 6 months--only 10 days shy of my 31st year. Not the age I would have chosen to get married, but I have been too busy with my career and, to be honest, I still don't feel 100% ready to let go of single life.
I think the perfect marrying age for a woman, considering body clock and all, is 27. Most women, at that age, are "mature" enough to take on the physical, emotional, and psychological--not to mention financial--challenges of married life. If a woman gets married at age 27, she can enjoy a year of honeymoon sweetness with her husband and have a year to try to conceive. She can then give give birth before she reaches 30--the age at which many women start feeling "old", although that's far from the truth! Thirty is young!
