Wanting to Start Botting

So, I've been lurking through the botting sections a bit and have come to the following conclusion:

I want to start botting. I don't plan to bot on my main account or on my agility account, but I want to make a few level 3 skillers as well as a fighter account.

So, I have a few questions.

1) If an account gets banned botting, is it an IP ban or just the account?
2) When botting, does the account have to be f2p or p2p?
3) Would I have to change out scripts for the account as it levels up to get the highest possible exp or would the bot know to switch ores/fish/etc.?
4) Does it bank?
5) Can I use my computer to bot from, or how does that work?
6) Anything else I need to know?
 
1: just the account, IP bans are for serious events.
2: it can be either.
3: There are many elite scripts out there that can do it all, as in you're mining copper and just hit 15, you'll have to change the settings to go to iron if you want.
4: they have the option to bank
5: yes you can use a PC.
6: Don't bot like a fool.
 
5) What's the difference between using your computer and a VPS?
6) Explain more?
 
If you use a VPS you won't have to worry about your mom complaining about how slow the family PC is and having her shut it down.

By fool I mean don't bot like 50 hours straight and still care about your account. Also, don't use powerbot. If you need to use free bots, use rsbuddy but don't put your information in it just to be safe.
 
So, botting slows down a computer dramatically?

And, ban rates are high, I realize that, so that's why I'm not going to bot on my main or secondary account.
 
Depends on how good your computer is. Some computers can run 10 bots with ease, while others can be super slow even with one.

4) Does it bank? Most bots do support banking
5) Can I use my computer to bot from, or how does that work? yes, aslong as it runs, there is not set time
6) Anything else I need to know? keep safe, be quiet

3) Would I have to change out scripts for the account as it levels up to get the highest possible exp or would the bot know to switch ores/fish/etc.? Usually you just bring it to the ore you want to mine, etc. and select that rock(etc.) on the GUI.
4) Does it bank? Most do.
5) Can I use my computer to bot from, or how does that work? Yep, you can even minimize the window and it still works.
6) Anything else I need to know? Nope, but if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Those are both free bots, meaning most the scripts are free. I personally like Rsbuddy better.

RSBuddy is the best free one. (www.rsbuddy.com)

If you want to buy scripts (most of these are nice) you can use rsbots.net.
 
So, say I made a level 3 miner, would it take long for it to get 99 mining in F2P?

Took less than a week for me to get 80 off of iron.

2-3 weeks total if you do concentrated gold as a member.

I'd guess 3 weeks tops for 99 mining f2p on iron.
