If you are looking to start a programming language it's best to classify yourself into which language to learn. For personal preference I would start off programming batch files as well as Java. If you are looking to learn one within days then PHP is your best bet. If you need any help please let me know .
I'm not very fluent in coding, but Java is what I've seen as a good start. Although I've read about C# and like Paperbag said, it is a good doorway to later learning in Java and PHP. So definitely either Java, PHP, or C#.
HTML, is proberbly the easiest, because for school i had to learn some of it for a test on how to make a webpage with tanles and shit, for an exam, 100% me , but i think ill start with html, then go up to VB then work my way to C++
For someone who trys to take on C or C++ and doesn't understand it at all, I would recommend you just see how you like HTML and CSS, then for from there, like implementing JavaScript into your HTML and maybe even going to PHP from there, that's my opinion at least.
