Yeah, skipping school isn't funny, just means you're stupid enough to not know what they're talking about in lessons.

udumbro?

I didn't go because I literally knew Every thing the teacher was teaching I was falling asleep in class since I was done so fast

We have 1 hour classes or so

I would be done in around 15mins
Then the teacher would get me to help the other kids because they dont understand it

Only thing in school that actually taught me any thing was Mechanics
Working on cars is interesting and I always find stuff that I never knew before

And Yes I do think I'm cool because I skip and still pass
And other kids in school work hard all year and Fail
I do find that funny

Then take harder classes?
Just because you "pass" doesn't make it right.

I know kids you are in the normal gen eds that sit there and say they know everything, but when they get to finals they either fail or barely pass.

udumbro?

Exact opposite Read my other post
I skipped because I got bored
Thing is I surf the net All day learning new things etc and Doing stuff IRL with my dad that teaches me life lessons

Schools just does the same over and over and over

I hope this year will be something new so I can learn something
Because last year I learned the same stuff in grade 6 as I was learning in grade 9 classes

Idk I get bored pretty fast

Your ego is huge. We have 1 hour classes, and I'm no slacker but I don't get the work done in 15 minutes.

Yes, we gathered your ego is bigger than yourself, no need to tell us.
You laugh at other peoples mis-fortune?
I'm going to laugh when you can't get a job.

It's called "Reteaching". I will guarantee you don't remember 95% of the stuff you learned in 6th grade.
You think the teachers want to do it? They have to.

There are no harder classes
Math they do have advanced math Witch all they do is Basically the same thing but Give you X4 the work

So its not really advanced
I'm teaching my self to learn percentages for poker -Very useful-
I dont plan on going to college or University like others I plan on Working for my dad or Joining the Canadian forces

Only reason I'm still in school tbh Is because to join the forces you need I believe its
You need your GED

Quoted for truth.

I to admit I have a big ego but I dont find any thing wrong with that
But yea Our work We get around 3 pages of work and I can finish it in 15-20mins

And yea I laugh at people who go to school all year and Fail
They fail because They spend their time Talking All class witch is pretty annoying
teacher made me sit there with them helping them and yea They wont shut up

And In canada its really easy to get a job Well at least where I live it is

I can make $20 a hour Right now working for my dad if I wanted to
But That would require me quit school entirely Witch I dont want to do

Well yea

OP Congrats on your awesome grades
You must be a smart man =)

Your like the typical average kid in my school. You say you are smart enough for the more advanced classes and then say it's the same thing. Trust me, schools don't have advanced classes teach the same thing. I compare the stuff that the non-adv classes are doing with what they are doing and they around 1/2 - 1 year behind. If you can't go through a year of school, how can you expect yourself to go through a year of the forces?

I think you are scared.

I know lots of people like him in my school. They always say 'its the same thing' but if you go to them, it's not.

If in the forces they asked you to do a more advanced course for say, idk, for example night patrol (crap example, I know) would you say no because it's the same as day? No, exactly.

I think he is scared of facing the full facts.

School taught me not one thing in 3 years. Everything I know was either from the internet, external books or from 3+ years ago. Funny thing is, I still came top of science (Sometimes I spoke through the whole class, some times I didn't. Depends how interesting the class was that day), maths (I slept through EVERY class, since it was after PE and 2nd period, I always stayed up late playing games), IT (I played games the whole way through that. Never once listened to a word the teacher said)... I came top of a few other things, but I forgot what I did in school.

Now I left school and I'm reading through GCSEs on like 10 different subjects. About 1/8 through them all. They're huge.

Also, since I left school I've spent less time playing games in the FULL timeframe I know have open than the old timeframe where 8 hours were cut out, learning intermediate java, more advanced intermediate VB.net, basic PHP, thinking about learning intermediate C++ or C#, thinking about learning intermediate PHP, javascript and HTML.
Also, sorry if I made any mistakes above, I just spent like 15 hours in a row coding a secret project that will be private to me

Teachers > Yourself

Good teachers > Yourself
Bad teachers that 25% of them can't even speak English < me

Also, don't say I go to a bad school, it was rated extremely good. 2nd best school in my area, and my area isn't some black person area. Full of jews here.

Tbh, I don't know how UK works, but in US, you can't support your whole life when you don't have a high school diploma. Just go to school and try to seek other things you can do, maybe it doesn't have to be within your school.

Example:
I am going into 12th grade this year. Last year, I went for 3 hours of my day to another school for a Computer Information Systems class. So at my home school, i had math, english, and chemistry. This year they cut that school down to 2 hours of the day, which means I would have to take an elective at my home school. Electives at home school suck even the computer ones. So I am Dual Enrolling into a college and taking a Networking class, which is part of my career path reqs.

You can still get a GCSE/A+ degree if you're home schooled? You just have to go to a local exam center (there's one about 2 miles away from where I live), set a date and go and do your test there. Pretty much the same as the one you get in a high school.

Is a "GCSE/A+ degree" like a GED where it's like a high school diploma but it's not?

How the fuck would I know? I'm not Canadian nor have I ever been there/studied their school system.

Anyway, I think I'm going to try and go to bed again. been up for almost 20 hours now

@[Automatic Coding] 1st congratulations on your un-limitation, lol. Also, he said home-school not home-schooled.

Home school as in the one he normally attends, and he attends another for extra classes, right @[Chewbaka] ?
