Vouch threads

Theres no need not to have both. I would prefer not to lose my 128 vouches, which was the only reason i havent merged my account lol

Exactly plus it would just be one less plugin to have, as well as more posts.

We should have vouch thread i Prefer them much more but we should have something on them like I have 118 vouches atm, so something on the thread to show I have that many and not starting off fresh again.

That's what I was trying to say, I gave some ideas hopefully there's something.
 
I don't like this idea. You should just edit the current ezTrader system by making it more direct toward vouches instead of direct to people who have actually bought from that person.

For example, when you are giving someone feedback, remove where it asks if you were the buyer, seller, or trader. You don't need to make a transaction with someone to vouch for them. You may have known that person for a while and know that they are trustworthy.


I guess it's too late now, but that's just opinion. :-/

I'd go for this. Less abuse when it comes to it is the main plus.
 
I think I misinterpreted this post actually, what I thought was we'd add a vouch feature to the actually thread. That way when your selling whatever you are someone can do it that way almost like a thank.
 
I think the vouch system should stay. Vouch threads are fine but lots of people have had deals where the buyer or trader only came onto the site just to get something and then that member left right after.
 
A lot of older members had vouch threads and when members left they didn't get vouches put in the ezTrader system.
 
The vouch system is difficult to really trust. Many members have negative vouches due to them being botted. I'm not sure how that works, but vouch threads would be MUCH better IMO. I voted a giant YES.

I'm going to assume that when you said "upgrade members" you meant un-upgraded members. To fix that problem, we could have un-upgraded members able to vouch and to avoid fake vouches, we could make it where when you vouch somebody, they'll have to approve it first before it becomes an actual vouch. Plus if we did this, it would be much easier to find people who are fake vouching others and it would prevent it. Just an idea. Also, does anyone see any flaws in this idea? Or is this even possible to do?

One more thing, if you actually did mean "upgrade members", they could just talk to staff and have the problem fixed. I used to not be able to vouch, but I can vouch now.
 
I'd like to keep both, but luckily I don't do alot of deals so I wont lose much.
