How to check if you are infected with the Conficker, aka Downup, Downadup & kido

A lot of hard working researchers have made this simple webpage to test if you are infected.

Just Open This Link:
Code:
http://www.confickerworkinggroup.org/infection_test/cfeyechart.html

See what all images are visible to you and follow the chart observation,Shown at The bottom of the Site.

Don't think this actually works...

According to it, I'm not infected

Well, the concept behind it seems pretty simple, so I doubt as many people as you mentioned spent so long researching for it (and if they did, they take way too long researching things).

@George: In theory, it should work.
The virus is meant to block access to most anti-virus websites, meaning that if you're trying to view an image that's hosted on one of those sites, the virus would block it and the browser would display an unloaded image.

Occordit to that site i'm not infected too hehe

nice to see a tutorial to prevent virus.thankz

Well first off congrats to Anyoymous on Admin never noticied.

2. It says I'm infected....

3. I'm not acuatlly infected
And I wouldn't trust this to much... Just buy a virus protector that comes with a scanner

I think everybody have antivirus I used this website just for fun

Site doesn't work to well... Purposely infected myself with 10 different viruses. Says I'm not infected.

I thought this meant zombie viruses, but otherwise Its sorta useful.

Never heard of conficker

you could also use ctrl+alt+delete to see if your computer is also infected by virus pal..or if u have just downloaded an antivirus it fade away..

You can't see if you are infected by opening Task Manager. What kind of sense does that make? A virus can disguise itself as any process name.

I can confirm this test does work, and can prove extremely useful.
