Ok so if I swap regions with my account like to Japan will I be able to play Japanese arcade games that aren't released in the Us i really wanna try since they made it possible to change regions any ideas guys ?

You're able to change regions on accounts? My friend from Australia gave me his account, but since it ran out of Xbox LIVE and I'm from the US, I wasn't able to add my 3 month US card to it..

Go to my account on Xbox.com and its at the bottom right corner then you can add your card after you swapped regions

Wow... My friend gave me this account with only like 2 months LIVE on it. It ran out and I couldn't add a US code to and Australian account, so I made a new one. This feature wasn't there before, and I know this because I phoned up Microsoft for that exact reason.

Thanks for this a lot man.

No problem man yeah they just implemented this like a couple of days ago on the site what was the tag? If you don't mind me asking

just so you know xbl membership codes do not have region locks. ONLY the msp and some DLC codes

the cool thing for me was that microsoft points were cheaper haha

It's not oG or anything. He had 720 MSP on the account, so I went on Bing Rewards to get 80 MSP to change the gamertag.
If you really want it, feel free to PM me for it.

They did before.

I purchased a 3 month card at CVS Pharmacy here in Agawam, Massachusetts. I went directly home and tried to add it do my account. It wouldn't add, so I phoned up Microsoft. I talked to two people and both of them said it was because I couldn't add a US code to an Australian account.

This was at least 6-12 months ago though, possibly longer.
