Yeah I get what you mean, but it depends on the games you're playing and on the laptop you're using. Example: CoD4 works perfectly fine on my 2 year old laptop at max settings. I get about 50 fps.

I meant the Laptops that people game on that's on a damn desk.. and they add a gaming mouse and keyboard.. >_>

But I understand when people take gaming Laptops to LANs and so on.

Anything can play COD. Lol a $50 graphic card could play CODMw3 at 1080p at smooth fps. Laptops are not really designed for gaming. they overheat quickly and less more powerful and expansive compare to desktops.
