[Tutorial] How to Use Cain And Abel !

This is in regards to pulling external ip addresses threw Xbox and / or PS3 .

Step 1 : Go to the following website and download the software ( Click on the bottom one ) http://www.oxid.it/cain.html

Step 2 : Click Sniffer at the top tabs , Then Click the Sniffer button and the Blue plus beside it , when you do that you should get this prompt

Step 3 : Click Ok , and it will show you what your routers IP & What your xbox / PS3 IP is . http://gyazo.com/6037a10f4774cdf22a3ffb665f50d9ba

Step 4 : Remember what the last 2 digits of your routers IP and your Microsoft IP & switch to the APR Tab : http://gyazo.com/e3d831e8408d6b12186ea1f3a2058bd4

Step 5 : Click the Top of the white section , Then hit the blue + sign and you will get this prompt : http://gyazo.com/781ab716c7166ba035987f70b6264312
Put your Routers IP on the left side and the microsoft or sony IP on the right side .

Step 6 : Click the Nuke Button right underneath FIle and you should get IP's

Should've elaborated on how to set it up for both wireless and wired connections. Otherwise good tut!
Edit: Also ask to move this thread over to the "Networking" section! Once again, as for everything else, good tut!

Hmm. I swear mines different... I have to physically configure it.
I make it sound like it's hard but it's easy as flicking a light .

Nah I've been getting IP's and hitting people offline(cause I'm a total bada**) since 11'. Seriously though no need, but you're a really supportive person! Glad to see people being helpful!
 
Isn't there not supposed to be anything that has to do with Host Booting on the site?

Should be great for people who don't know how to use C&A.

No problem bro. I used to use Cain and Able. That was when I would boot kiddies off xbl.
