In this tutorial I'll be showing you how to run a .exe file on a mac. I warn you, not all programs will work. I've noticed bigger programs do not always work, but most smaller programs do.
So let's get started, first you need to download CrossOver. Again this isn't free and I'm not allowed to show you how to get it free, sorry.
So once you've installed Crossover, you open it. This will pop up:
Then you click Manage Bottles and this will pop up:
Then you click the plus sign in the bottom left hand corner. After you push that, a window will pop up saying what you want to Name it.
So once you have your bottle, you'll want to add programs, right? To do this go to the first screen:
And click on CrossOver Software Installer
Once you've clicked that scroll down until you see what is highlighted here:
Then you click Proceed
This will pop up:
It's fairly obvious, just read the description and pick the one that suits your needs.
So pick your file/folder and click install.
Once it's done installing go to this screen again and click CrossOver applications.
Then select your .exe you want to run and that's it.
Now you can run .exe's on your mac! Yay! Again, not all programs will work, but most do.
