This method works 100% and is very helpful.
1. Turn your xbox on and put it on the floor (cables for the television do not need to be plugged in)
2. Take a few towels (at least two) and wrap them around your xbox
3. Let your xbox stay on for 25-30minutes while wrapped in the towels.
4. After, let it cool off, while still on, for about 10minutes or more
5. Your red ring should be gone after thisand your xbox should work perfectly.
Note: If this does not work contact me on hereor aim: Perk
**This method was not found by me, but another user and on google
Hope this works.

this method only works for a short period of time.. i fix xboxs for my friends and this method only works for a month or so. When you do this its just reseting the xbox. but over time the gpu will fail. and the solder will crack along with the artic silver under the heat sinks. the best way to fix it is to get it reflowed

it will stop working really soon. if you want to fix the red rings then reflow it.

It only actually works depending on how damaged the Xbox is.

I heard this can make your xbox catch on fire if you leave it wrapped too long.

Wrap it and leave it on for 30 min. Take the towels of and leave it running for maybe 20 minutes. Then turn it off for 10 minutes and your good
