might be in the wrong section but is slightly topical. But anyway is it unlucky to be turboed? im thinking of swapping names to my main account and was just wondering... Thanks
 
As long as nobody knows the tag and there isn't a spaced version you should be fine.
 
ok good thanks for the help. Should i buy a gamertag which has code of conduct on its profile, but ive seen it online on xbox.com?

Err idk I think that will be banned. I've never dealt with a banned tag so I'm not too sure.
 
If you just bought the tag way a few days before swapping just in case
 
yeh will do that! can someone recover a gt through their xbox of you changed the passwords and stuff?

If the GT is still on their console they can't sign in, it will say invalid information. Just change the email, password, security question and answers, and also put your phone # on the account.
 
1. Keep all privacy settings on "friends only" or above.

2. Don't attempt to swap straight after the transaction.

3. Use Zune Method or 2 Xbox consoles, NEVER USE ANOTHER MEMBER TO HELP.

4. Wait for a week or more before swapping to ensure attention on the sale has died down.
 
for using two consoles, whats wrong with console and computer or is it just more instant on xbox?
