Trade OG Gamertags?

Anyone here ever traded or sold a gamertag with someone?
I got this one gamertag I'm willing to trade for: "Modestness" - Freedom of being conceit or vein. It is a weird one but reply back if interested in trading?

Also was wondering how to go about selling GT's, would I have them pay first or give them the info first? Need help

There's a many ways to sell/trade a gamertag. But the most safest way is to use a middleman, a middleman is someone who secures both parties items in a trade and once they're secure he gives them to the different parties. You can also go first, I suggest checking the persons background first and decide whether or not he is trusted enough. Or you can make someone else go first but I don't think your trusted enough, so in that circumstance I suggest using a middleman.

But In buying a tag, I'd suggest doing a bit of research in it before purchasing. GL man.

2. modestness - freedom from vanity or conceit

These websites show it is an OG Gamertag, just not a very common word
 

Just because you managed to make a gamertag that is also in the English language; doesn't make it og. I could made 10+ ''ogs'' right now if I wanted to
 
He means as an OG tag would be something considered common and no prefix/ending. Such as "Rape" would be considered "og" where as "Rapers" or something would be considered semi. . Also depends on how common the word is, GL though.

Modestness is more OG than those who have stuff like.. M R or.. A T M or even 2 letters like BT. Those are just rare, half the og gamertags on xbox are in the english language so Modestness isn't any different.

I really don't care if this doesn't get traded or sold, I'm just trying to get rid of it because I dont want it.
 
OG is classified as common words with no prefixes. Modestness would be considered a semi at most. I mean its no the worst tag but stuff like M R and A T M are spaced because there are v1's of the tag. Those are still classified as nice gt's, better than Modestness. You sir just have alot to learn.
 

Modestness has a -ness in it. Making it a bad semi OG. It's a word but doesn't meant it worth money. Uniformitarianism is a word but worth less than a quarter. I can teach you or bring you to a thread if you'd like.

I really don't care about learning about OG and Semi and v1's etc.. I sold the Gamertag I wanted too anyway, I thought I may as well have given it a go with Modestness too, I always thought people just cared about correct spelling, not common words but w/e
Not something I'd 'learn' but meh won't flame those who take it that seriously.
 
I'm not taking it seriously. Im just telling you before you run into someone that does. If you were to post this in the gamertag section then people would have made fun of it. I'm just trying to help you out by letting you know before you run into kids like that.
 

Like I said, I don't care if someone cares THAT much, and if I went to the gamertag section and posted this and got made fun of, I honestly wouldn't care.. because Modestness would probably be a longer word than any other in these kids vocabulary's..

I'll post there, then explain why it doesn't matter, a word is a word. I won't leave it up to a bunch of indenial kids to say 'Oh no that isn't an OG it isn't common, and its a weird word' Who CARES?
OG is OG to me, I don't care what anyone thinks
 
If YOU like the tag, then keep it. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks if you like it and keep it. People are just trying to help you out by trying to explain it to you. Lol no big deal.

Post a thread in the gamertag section if you want to sell or trade.
