To drop out of High School, or graduate?

Now before I get into anything, I just wanna state that I'd like to graduate, but there's no point for me to graduate. I'm mentally and physically dedicated to creating hip hop music and improving myself within that field. I "go" to school from 7:50-2:55 everyday and during these 6 hours and 55 minutes I force myself to sit there and endure an annoying repetition of information that I learned last year, or the year before, that's tweaked the slightest bit just to make it a little more difficult while taking the tests for that course. Now, even if I did graduate... I would still only want to be an hip hop artist. Do you see where I'm coming from now? Why waste my time when I could be improving myself and going to work to help purchase materials needed to produce music(I already have everything, but upgrades would be nice)? I know it's nice to have a plan B, but I'm dedicated to my Plan A.

So there is my argument, now give me yours. Please think logically and don't be a complete hard headed douche bag.​

You always need a plan B man. If making hip hop music doesn't work out, you will need something else. A diploma will help you out in the long run.

Nothing is guaranteed, and without a high school diploma you wont even be considered for a job anywhere.

I am a firm believer in the education system and I believe if you have the chance to earn a good education, you should certainly take it. You've come this far and you would be best off you graduated.

I guess it's easy for me to tell you to graduate seeing as it's my last year and I go from 8:30-11:30 AM.

Yo don't drop out, even if you do become successful, you'll be a loser for not finishing high school. And you don't even know where you'll end up in you music career. So just finish bro. I know people that went to college majoring in music and got into the business easily, one person is working with people that worked with Kanye West and other artists. Education does make things easier. I'm starting to make beats myself and plan on going far with it.

You always need a plan b I doubt this would happen but what if hip hop is gone in the next 5 years lol you wont have a plan b and good luck trying to get a job when you live on the side of a street

In all honestly I think you should finish, don't drop out just because that's what you want to do. If that fails you at least want a high school education..

Dude fuck everyone else and don't listen to them follow your dreams cause when everything falls into place there going to be the ones asking for hand outs, yeah it's gonna be a long and hard road. You can and will get through anything that stands in the way of your dream, just don't ever give up and don't forget why you started in the first place it would also help to surround yourself with people that believe in you.

I think you should graduate, but if you don't at least get your GED. Don't just try to create music, always have a backup or do both.
