Thoughts on revenge rep?

This one user is really annoying, I've seen him post a few posts on peoples threads including my own about how something is illegal but, it's all a matter of opinion on what you consider illegal and do not necessary violate any law.

So I gave him a some negative rep and he revenge repped.
What are your thoughts on revenge rep?
 
Lol, somebody is upset?

I told you that what you were selling was against site policies. If you cannot accept that then here is all I have to say:

Justicar and I both warned you so you really had it coming lol. But revenge Rep is only necessary if that person is just a plain asshole.

It wasn't against the policies. It wasn't illegal. It's like a hunting rifle, it has a legitmate purpose yet can be used in an illegal way but it in itself is not illegal. My partner is a current law student and he said there is nothing which would be illegal about it.
 
Sorry, but it is against the site policies. Go and read them please, I provided a link in my previous post.
 

Im not going to argue with you about it. You're wrong. Go and read the help documents and learn some site rules before you get so hasty.

Booters, or your "Network Stress Tester" falls under this category.
 
Look, i've pointed you to the rule you broke, your thread was removed for violating that rule.

This thread should be closed or deleted because this should be discussed over PM and not be dragged out this far on a thread.
 

Do we have to write every single thing in perfect detail with no mistakes in our rules? It's common sense. You can say RAT's are legal, if they were sold here should we allow them? Should we allow a tool that 99% of the people who buy it use maliciously and break the law with it. Should we allow iStealers? It's a password recovery tool, but that's not how people use it. They bind it to programs/pictures, post it around and steal accounts. It's used for illegal purposes. The tool itself isn't illegal, but it's used for illegal purposes.

So Booters/Stealers/Loggers/RAT's are all going to fall under rule 7, illegal activity.
