Thought I Was Having A Heart Attack

I have a heart condition called "BAV" (Bicuspid Aortic Valve) that can cause a whole lot of problems for my body.

I have determined that the cause of my "chest pains" were from "Palpitation", which you can read more about here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palpitation

It feels like a thick toothpick is stabbing my heart, which makes me think I'm having a heart attack, and I immediately put my hand over my heart to make sure it's still beating. I just got this about 5 minutes ago, and it lasted almost 60 seconds! The longest I've experienced this pain had to be around 4 minutes, which I was convinced I was about to drop dead.

I also got this at work today after having an energy drink (never drinking those again).

Damn, hope your okay.

Well considering you have heart problems I would stay away from anything that increases your heart rate as this could end up in a deadly result.

Also another thing is you should probably go see a doctor cause you could be on the verge of a heart attack, Chest pains are well known signs of heart attacks waiting to happen so it is best that you see a doctor now before it is too late the next one could be the last.

It's a condition, not a sickness. Can't "Get well soon" lol.
