Ok so its practically the end of the month and i'd just like to go over the different changes we have made to the forum in the past few weeks.
Theme
We had an independent forum review and one of the things brought up was the forums theme. Since the review we have gone back to the original darker theme.
Logo
As we had made the theme darker, we also had to change the logo. I have removed the actual logo in the logo and given the text a lighter gradient. No doubt in the future the logo will return when I work out how to implement it into the theme.
Guest Message
Also due to the review we have added a welcome message to the forum index. Everyone can read this by logging out of the forum.
New Member Message
We have also added a welcome message to new members on the forum, this message is only displayed to users with under 5 posts, but consists of links to the introduction section and the newbie tips help document in the help section.
Forum Layout
Again, due to the review, we have slightly changed the way the forum is set out.
The technology section was rather empty so we move the computing category into the Tech section as computers are technically a form or technology.
We have moved all misc' topics to their own tab, this is to improve the forums flow and make guests and new users index tab look more tidy.
Because of the reduction of categories on the main tab, I have reduced the amount of Latest Downloads & Recent Topics displayed in the side bar. This is so that the length of the sidebar doesn't exceed the length of the forum.
Whilst we are on the sidebar topic, the forums social sites have been added with icons with links to Facebook, Youtube & Twitter.
We have also got rid of the market tab. This is mainly because it wasn't very active and other smaller issues.
Ok so thats basically it. If ive forgotten something please let me know, its highly likely

I have also added Tweet and Like buttons to the forum footer. These will most likely be moved at a later date.
