Think I've been ratted.

My friend gave me a checker which was backdoored, and told me to run it in sandboxie so I wouldn't get ratted/virus. But I occidentally doubleclicked and ran it normally. And now I'm supposedly ratted.

Any ideas on what to do?

What checker was it? I can check your comp via join.me and let you know if you have been ratted or if he was just bullshitting you. Depending on how difficult the infection is I may or may not be able to get it off though. I've only removed a few basic rats in the past.

Check processes, find abnormal shit and end it. Then look around in AppData etc find the stuff. Can't? Then scan with a Antivirus and use MalwareBytes to find anything else. Also log out and delete all saved passwords and change them on a different device.

OT: If worse comes to worse, change your SM deets on your phone or something, back up your shit you need on your PC and restore it. I've never been ratted before when I owned a windows, so I don't know how to remove etc.

open msconfig.exe and go to the startup tab and uncheck everything you don't recognize then restart your pc

Mac's can easily get viruses, just not as common. .jar is a infectable file type as well as .pdf.

Oh fuck I'm actually 16 not 15 lol. I started work at 15. And took me 1 full year for $7k. I slowly paid off my mac by paying a certain amount month by month
