I saw a few individuals talking about how the rep system should be on the other site and it got me thinking. Alot of people on here just rep4rep (cough cough @Fallout) then they appear trusted and will scam the fuck out of people. The idea the others had was to have rep go up by 3 or so and people would give a -1 with a scam report attached as this would allow the user a second chance and would hopefully allow them to pay back the money they owe. Of course if something like that was implemented it could be abused because it would allow someone to scam twice before they get banned. What do you all think of a system like that.

P.S. @Fallout didnt scam anyone he just rep4reps worse then anyone on the site lol
 
I prefer the other way, so I can whore a lot of rep, and then exit scam easy.

I don't think anyone that scams deserves a second chance, they should be permenantly banned instantly once proved guilty.

Unless the so called user pays back what was taken then he shall return.

The reputation system is flawed wherever you go because of greedy rep hungry people, it's just a number. It should represent knowledge, experience/trust and time on the site.

I think a lot of people do rep for rep. I dont have much rep but people with less posts will have 300+
 
@fallout got called out boyyyyyyyyyyy, I like rep.

I feel like rep from certain people is a-lot better than some. I.E if you have a rep from @Monster it's not a rep 4 rep, it's because you done legit business, same with most bigger members.

@Voices Rep4repping is a bannable offense. If you notice someone legitly abusing the system you can PM one of the Moderators or Philly and tell them. If they find sufficient evidence they will receive a short term ban and eventually in the long run a permanent ban if the continue to do so.
