I think this is the best section to put this topic because it goes hand in hand with my intro thread.
I would like to highlight the role of an admin. The highest rank I ever received on a forum was GMod (same goal on this forum
) on a hacking clan and I never really realized the influential power that gave me. I always saw it as a burden with few rewards, I kept being HQ but not really active, I overlooked the recognized power I had. It's small but it's always there for a forum mod. I joined MF from a recent HF thread that said MF was reopened, I quickly followed Crayo's refer link thinking I'd post my new business venture and get a few customers. After reuping my selling thread, I posted in the intro section with a pointless sentence that I initially thought would get me neg repped: "Hey, it's funny how everybody from HF is only joining this forum to reup their selling threads. I'm here because I'm registering all domains for $3.99
". When I checked back in a few hours Crayo's response had such a motivating feel that I decided this is the forum I've been looking for. Some other admin would of been offended a little by that remark (I would be) but not Crayo, he stuck with me and gave me that glimpse of hope in my darkest moment. His quick/small response is what motivated (and still motivates) me to be active and HQ on this forum. Thank You, I want all the members to be proud of their administrator.
