The Market.

I am sure i am not the only one that see's a gamertag, kik, aim, etc for sale and thinks it's way too expensive. I have heard people complain about it and i myself also do so. I know it is in higher demand because they are harder to get and i guess are of more "value", but if people lowered their prices there would be more shit to go around and it wouldn't be such a big deal anymore. If the prices were lowered, there would be way more buyers and people would have like bidding wars and shit in order to get what they really want. I mean, these are all VIRTUAL names and people are dropping $1k+ on shit. It is their money and they can do what they want, so i have no say in their decision. I understand the people who own all the good shit would hate this, but when you think about it, this would help everyone in the long run. Anyways, i didn't make this to complain. I think it's a really good point you have, but just because of the quantity of usernames and stuff that's so rare, just gets rarer, it's not likely to ever lower in price significantly. It's so much easier said than done, but I really agree with the idea, it would make everything so much more...accessible.

the market being fucked up has nothing to do with the supply and demand of tags, kiks, etc.
It has to do with newer members joining and being charged insanely high prices, they in return buy tags with thier parents credit cards, and resell for profit. It all started to get really out of hand around the time Dura Joined the site, he was buying tags like Diagonal for $250. Now that people are used to selling tags so high and having people buy tags etc so high, it will never end, just get worse lol

But, arent u dropping a whole bunch of money on a VIRTUAL Gamertag? ive seen like 50000 threads from u looking for one lol.

The Market is what it is, prices will decrease and increase over time

Hahahaha. that's true though.... out of nowhere too.. but a lot of people claim it is because of the "demand", when the "market" is made up of us buyers/sellers. We could change it if we tried, but people don't seem to want to. i just made this to see if i wasn't the only one feeling this way...

Well if ur looking for a 3letter OG and have been interested in 2 letters, id suspect ur dropping a heavy load.

Nobody will lower their price if they could get way more for it.

I was looking and i was gonna offer what i felt. most said no, so i gave up on them. the point is idk why people stated charging 1k from $100 years ago. On HF a long time ago, sick stuff would go up daily for cheap af and i am just saying how its not that way anymore for some reason

It's only because the few legit people left can get these prices for gamertags that the buyer will keep and not get scammed.

Fuck it, when and if this reset happens, if the market doesnt drop down where it is supposed to be, it will die out just like that yahoo market did loland the demand there is much higher for "Rare" (OG yahoo names) then xbox is any day of the week lol
