
A report by the Observatory of Discrimination in Radio and Television said that America turned out to be the channel with more offenses, followed Telefé and thirteen. Shipments also had their ranking.
A report by the Observatory of Discrimination in radio and television and published on Page 12 which are realized programs and channels more often incurred in the use of aggressive insults or jokes that discriminate either a sexual condition of gender, xenophobia or racism.
According to this ranking America proved to be the channel with more offenses for acts of discrimination in its programs between September 2010 and April 2011, with 38 percent of the total. Telefe was followed with 27 percent, Channel 9 at 15 percent, El Trece, with 8 percent, and Channel 7, with 4 percent.
Also, the agency also made a list of the programs that sometimes fell discursively discrimination. These include, before noon (AM-Telefe), Blessed (Channel 9), Showmatch (Channel 13) and Summary of the media (RSM-America).
The research also highlights that the issues where they are discriminated against have to do with sexual identity, and gender second. We are situations of xenophobia and racism, disability, religion and youth.
The sample analyzed included Observatory monitoring 706 cases of radio and television content, of which 61 percent violated the law on audiovisual media for a variety of themes: language, 37 percent; violence, 29 percent; thematic adults, 15 percent; sexuality, 10 percent and 4 percent for discrimination, which represent a total of 26 reports, according to Page 12.
