Now that I have my plan in place and work has started I would like to announce what my immediate plans are for RG.
Website and Forum:
There will be a new website built offering guides, articles, videos aimed at not just RuneScape but other similar games.
A new design for the forum which will match the websites theme. (Previews will be posted as and when the designers finish them)
New user groups:
Premium members will have access to big competitions, which will have large prizes. A new competition will be posted every month. This membership will cost $5 per month via PayPal, current RG Elite and Sponsors will get this for 50% off for life.
Promotions Staff will be a team of 2 staff members who will organise and come up with the ideas for monthly competitions for premium members and there will also be smaller competitions for non-premium members. (1 position left)
Development staff will also be 2 staff members who will manage new features and maintain the new website. PHP, MySQL, HTML and CSS are required to take these positions. (2 positions left)
If you think you can handle any of these roles please send me a PM stating why you think you would be able to do this. The positions come with admin rights on the forums and website.
General Changes:
George is going to be promoted to site wide admin with Mike leaving, I will be looking for a new moderator to take his place. Please send me a PM stating why you think you should take his place.
New rules and guidelines for all of us to follow stating clearly the expected behaviour of all members of RG including staff.
Zero tolerance on scamming activity on these forums, guides and videos are fine just anyone attempting to rip someone off in the market place will be perm banned without notice. Guidelines of how to submit a scam report and what evidence is required for us to take action.
