The forum's problems

Well, seeing as there is nothing of my interest to post/contribute on atm, i thought i would make a thread to discuss/express a few of my thoughts.
To start off, the reason many of you will not know who i am:
I am the sort of person to post on something that i actually give a fuck about. I'm not one to come on a thread and put 'cool' or something along them lines.

Right, i will now cut to the main part.
Some things i see going wrong with this forum(just before all the management complain at me, this is not aimed at you.)
- I see too many people jumping to conclusions. E.g. Somebody joins this forum and has hardly any experience with hacking or forums and their posts are short/un-detailed. They get de-repped straight away. Now, i dont know what is in the heads of you guys but, to me, this would turn me away from a forum and would give the impression that its full of twats.
- People posting on threads complaining about the OP. If you didnt post, the thread would start to die and you wouldnt have to look at it anymore...
- When people make multiple threads about similar if not the same subject. This gives the spammers more to post on.
- Another thing that bugs me is when people complain when they dont get a dump. I mean for god sake, you get like a free account for a day or two and 100k? Go fucking train your own account...
-Last thing. If you want an argument with somebody, why not PM them?

I agree completely with you expect for the part about neg repping the new spammers. I neg rep a person if in their first 20 posts they post something like "NICEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" or "Oh Cool (New Line) osdfdsofsdoifhoisdf(For 20 characters). Those people piss the shit out of me.

Yeah if its excessive then its fine but some people post like twice and already have like -10 rep.
I think everyone should get a chance.

You speak a lot of truth and have good, valid arguments to support your claims. I guess everyone has their definition of HQ post these days.

Edit: I like how you've spoken to the community, and not a specific group. It shows that improvements can be made from any aspect of this forums.

I agree with alot of your points. but alot of new people that do get de-repped, are for legitimate reasons, like they're spamming for the dumps section.

Umm okay, thanks.
I see that by making this thread I can also see who cares about this forum.
Within the next few days this could maybe change a few peoples attitudes towards posting.

Won't change anything, people are too imature behind a computer.

Too true; we're not showing our faces and to be honest, I am a different person online compared to real life.
Anyway, you're always going to get those people because members have a different way of seeing things.
E.g. Bad trolls that think their good just give the whole community a bad name.
But your argument is valid.

Yeah everyone is different online. But this isn't about stating that. This is about making them realise they are destroying the community that people work long and hard(inb4joke) to make. If enough of us change our perception then the trolls/spammers will die down and eventually we will have a community like no other. One where we can actually trust people we trade with and one that we can get along with all who we see online.
I may have had a few problems on this forum but I'm trying to work and repay from whatever I have done to people.

Yeah i know, I've had people on this forum say to me that they get so many chicks and what not, then i see their photo and realise that isn't the case at all.

If anything, i am different. Im more honest on the internet because i dont care what people think about me.

Nobody seems to care about this forum.
I doubt my stay will last much longer.
