Seeing that Philly's thread about Group Colors evoked dual feelings about Group colors, I made this poll to know user reactions before we take off the group color.

I voted 'Yes'. I don't want to see the colors go. Although, we do need some of them to change their colors due to them being too close to another.

In all honesty, there are only 3 main things that you get when purchasing a user-group.
User-bar, group color, sub-forum. Why take away the little that we already have?
Just my 2 cents.
 

It's going to be hard to edit the colors to make them different from each other.
Maybe you could get something like sub-forums inside your one big group section instead?

As bad at it makes FK look philly made a deal and a mistake now it is his responsibility to honor his deal as a man. He cant call returnsies after he makes a deal. IF a user wishes he can renogitiate his offer with philly but an owner should not be forced. End of Discussion

Well it all depends, will the people that bought the username color be refunded?
If they are then I don't see the problem.

We are not going to be refunded at for the colors.

If Philly gave every group owner $75 (the old price to add color) to take away the color, I'm sure we would all be happy, but Philly has already stated that nobody will receive anything.

Apparently, there are no refunds for anything, but at the same time, I wouldn't call it a refund. He is taking something that has already been paid for and guaranteed which can be considered scamming. .-.

In the end taking away the colors will lead to more harm than good. Sure, it may make the site look better to some people, but overall many of people are going to be very upset over it. I think we should just keep it how it is now to stop the arguments and keep everyone as happy as they are now.

If it's not broken, don't fix it.
 
I think that to have prevented this there should have only been like 5-8 colors that could possibly be boughten and also a certain amount of groups, for example 10, and then once all 10 groups were bought he should have done a large auction where each color is auctioned off to the group owner willing to pay the most for it. Idk just my idea of what should've happened and maybe what could still be done.
