That decision.

Okay, so last friday I made a pretty big decision, to most of you guys, if not all you wont think so.

So anyway I decided to move football clubs (AFL), but it was the day before our first game, that pretty much losing 100 or so really good mates, and yeah I don't understand it either but apparently if you change teams your a traitor and what not.
I told my coach friday and he flipped his shit, went crazy, i had others ringing me, not so much abusing me but they were very disapointed.

So anyway I know about 3 people at the club I'm moving too, I did have an interview at this club about 6 months ago but I declined, I will be signing a contract tomorrow for $300 a game, but Because my football club I just left are assholes, it will probably take them 3 weeks to sign my transfer.

And what I mean by a big decision, footy is actually serious now and not just child football, also Im 19 almost 20 so I'm not in school so making friends isnt easy as fuck anymore as people that have left school will understand, so I guess i'll have a whole new group of people in my life
and what not.

Anyway theres my story!

Woah! coincadently I'm more or less in the same situation (younger age though) I'm 14 and I played for a local football team, they're shit house. We lost every game last year, barely anyone there cares about football and the training is shit. So I decided to move to another team (within the same league)

I went to W.A to play football with a few boys from each team to play for an u15's side, the coach we had is the coach of the new team I'm playing for. Training with him = Better than my old coach (drills and tactics sucked arse) Now that everyone knows, they think the team I'm playing for poached me and shit has been caused.

My coach is being a f*ck... The president of the club arranged a meeting with him, the seniors president and my coach which I got back from about 3 hours ago. They raped me so hard....But literally, they just started throwing all these questions at me "Why are you leaving? What's so bad about this club?" etc.

Point is, I've lost a few mates, my coach went ape shit saying we've lost one of the best players on the team and now my parents hate the club. :3

Yours is similar but when your younger its alot different, I think I had 3 junior clubs, wasn't much of an issue, when you get to seniors, shit gets tense lol

Just don't worry about them, do what's best for yourself.

Well that's what it really did come down to, I stayed to help them rebuild but I wasn't happy, so did what was best.

I know how it feels
I have 2 clubs,joined a 3rd,it was not right for me,so stopped.
Even though it was not a u21 club,I know how it feels like for you
Good People+Bad management=current
Unknown people+Good management=option.
I think taking a risk will not be such a bad decision.

Well almost actually but no, i mean afl is the sport I play because saying football can mean like 38498 different sports lol
