territory issue

it has been long time since there are issues who will own spratly island,who do you think has the right to own the land china or philippines?

Well, if you checked the distance of China from Spratly, you can easily say that the island is for Philippines. I'm not saying this because I'm from Philippines, it's just because I just don't get it why China wants to have this island even if Philippines protect this over years.

Philippines has the right to own the Spratly Islands because it is near to their area of responsibility and China Claims it because of the former maps of their ancestors that island is theirs. While a Filipino National Discovers that Island, well the territorial dispute arise.

IMO. It's Philippines right to have that island. But since they can't protect it, the country should have some agreements in order to lessen the tension of territorial dispute in that area.

Don't forget that china has a great military, so if they really want that island, they will have it, unless someone trys to stop them. Hope that this doen't end up in war :S
