Tenure/History Account!

id appraise this at 80$ not 50$...

Just a heads up, "tenure" is the number of years an account continously subscribe to XBox Live...proof is the "watermark" indication ( orange strip ban w/ white number). It is possible to have a very old account with no tenure counts; meaning the account subscription was stop for a year. Also, a good proof is the "download" history of items page, indicating a specific date from each year the account is active and item acquired, not the "activity" section. GLWS.

It doesn't, ive had an account since 2007. If you were right then my tenure would be on 4 but its not. Its how long you've had XBL Gold not the date you renew gold.

After a year or couple of years of being a silver member, the tenture resets. I went on my 2nd old main the other day and it was on a 7year tenure last year, and its been on silver ever since then. Now when I put gold on it, there is no tenure.

Thats a glitch if you hit xbox up theyll fix it for you. (The forums not #)

thats not true at all, the "tenure" is how long you have had gold, not how long you have had the account on xbl... my first tag originally had a year put on it, it was jacked halfway through... it was migrated to south africa, and i couldnt put gold on it because their are no south african codes at that time, and i recently found 1 months work for south african accounts, so i put a one month on their and i have no tenure... but obviously gold has ran out now, but i created the GT on 11/27/10, the account first got gold on 12/25/10 , the account was jacked on 5/21/11, and i got it back on fathers day of '11... i didnt realise it was a sa account till i tried putting msp on it. so i called it, they said they would give me a one year token of gold but they had to cancel the gold on that tag, so on 8/24/11 the gold was canceled and i rendered that tag useless so i made another tag. and in janurary i put a one month on, and no tenure. So to conclude my discovery, A TENURE IS HOW LONG YOU HAVE HAD CONTINUOUS YEARS OF GOLD ON ACCOUNT, NOT HOW LONG YOU HAVE OWNED THE TAG OR WHEN GOLD WAS FIRST PUT ON.

Bingo!...to Tomi, Supra, and Hat, you guys hit the mark. Yep, I have lots of accounts that I manage for years and it's getting way too expensive to keep it GOLD status....that's why "thanks" for the people that sells XBL codes really cheap (Quad) to keep me going.

Lol, Anytime bro

Yea quad is the man when it comes to cheap XBL. I had an account that had a 2 year tenure that I didn't renew for about 14 months and it continued to a 3 year when I subscribed. Don't know if this is a glitch or not but Xbox doesn't try to reset you no matter what.

registered since July '09, now I'm not a math genius but that's not even a 3 year tenure yet, not a 4 year tenure...
