People who are 12 use "Stronger" words also now, as well as the common ones.
 
I agree with pink floyd. We don't need to swear to get our points across. It's called being mature about it.

Indeed, but sometimes that just isn't enough.
 
Why do people use bad words? I just don't understand. To be honest with you, I've never user a bad word in my entire life. (16 Years) Is it because it makes you look "cool"? Every bad word can be replaced with a word not so harsh so why not use good words instead?
 

They prefer that word instead? I prefer shit instead of poop, ass instead of butt. That's like asking why people say bigger words then using the small simple meaning of it.

No, I use it to show people how much expression I'm putting into something.
 
"We're not ALL twelve." That made my job easier. If we have ONE twelve year old, I want to make this the best forum for all users. Therefore, if you're allowed to swear yet one letter is censored, the twelve year old is catered for and so are you. If your swear words are not as effective since they're censored, maybe it's a small nudge to you (and to everyone else) that you should calm down in the heat of the moment and not get in trouble.

Well, I think there is a minimum age of 13 to be on this forum and plus this is a RuneScape based forum and you can enable/disable swear words. So if they're 12 they shouldn't be here anyway.
 
I dis-agree, swearing should be prohibited here. The censors are just fine, leave them that way.
 
They're only censors, people still get what you are saying with one letter blocked out.
 
I understand everyones point of view, but.

This is a runescape forum is it not? And you're allowed to swear on runescape now. If they don't hear it in this forum, they would hear it worse from school anyway in my opinion.

Indeed, but you can be mature enough not to. It's only a one letter censor and it doesn't even matter that much.
