Suggestions thread (Opinions welcome)

Section suggestions:

Add Steam marketplace under gaming market
Add section for VPNS under services
Put PC instead of Runescape and WoW subs to minimize. Also add in Minecraft and CS:GO under PC


Award suggestions:

Delete the following site related awards to start minimizing:

Helper or Contributor (basically the same award so only 1 is needed)
Reporter (No longer done)
YouTube (Pretty dead)
Possibly delete Graphics, Computing, and Marijuana. Dying sections and not really doing anything with the awards
Limit the holiday awards, such as 1 award. Such as (Happy Holidays!) and just use it for all, different requirements for each season.
Hustler/Cool Cat/Pint/Ass Kisser/Shit Stain/Gamer/Gambler/Traveler/Dancer/Hacker/Referral/Extreme Reporter/Detective/OutHosting (As they are not really used and will help raise value)
Philly's Star or Philly's Helpers since they are basically the same just use one.

Also allow current user owned awards to be traded in for site related items or possibly given up to help support FK. @hobbs thank you.


Group suggestions:

@Hobbs suggested trading for site related items.
Can't really make any suggestions for them as they are user owned.

Please if you have any suggestions that aren't completely useless then post them or PM me them and I'll add them to the thread.
@Philly these are my official suggestions.

I've also previously suggested adding a dedicated on-site feedback system which is JUST for trading purposes.
This would then make it easier to distinguish who is actually "trusted" and not by people who have rep for rep.

Also re-evaluate the group and award fees. If anything, it will be to your advantage as people will be more likely to buy/sell with lower fees. Maybe do like a Winter discount on it or something, and incorporate my previous suggestion of offering Upgrades in replacement of user owned groups.

I have a suggestion for groups and have already submitted it to Philly.


Waiting for a reply, it will hevily reduce the groups.

For the award yes, not the subforum. That's why it's under Award Suggestions.

Ah right. 

Yeah now I'm with you, I agree. You can keep the section active without an award.

Then again, people try and get forum awards, it's user awards that are out of hand.

I'd say it's more of both. I mean there are pretty much the same amount of each. Can start by getting rid of all the ones site owned, then start on user owned.
Gotta lead by example.

And I'm sure people would put forth a lot more quality activity for rarer and harder to get awards than ones so easily obtainable.

Also, another suggestion - archive the PSN market. It's dead and the only things being sold there are always pulled back, or used to scam people.

That's true, however the only thing that can be done with awards/groups is what we already have until funds are gathered to buy back groups/awards.
So might as well get it all together while we can.

If you paid attention to the thread it is clearly in the AWARD SUGGESTIONS.

I feel like Ass Kisser and Shit Stain shouldnt be up.

I kinda have a suggestion for these awards.

there like mini contests where people ask to qualify and if 10 people agree that they are an ass kisser or shit stain then they should get the award, but thats just my idea.
