We need a laid back section of the forums. Somewhere where the rules are much looser than the rest of our tightly managed forum. It would be pretty nice and would bring some type of fun around as well.

Like a Spam section? Off Topic, anything you want to talk about? Like big rules?

Aslong as it didn't have pornography/childporn/blackhat etc.

Somewhere where you can essentially just troll/flame/flamebait others/vent off on each other/everything else that mods can toss out warnings for. So yes an off topic section with nearly no limits is what I'm asking. Possibly for mature audiences only (not pornographic material or anything though).

Fuck just make an 18+ section that doesn't allow you to enter if you're under 18 in your profile info. Within the section the only rule should be something along the lines of, "Shut the fuck up and deal with it."

People can change there date of birth on there profile.

If we are to do this, make sure that there is no post count increase in that section. Therefore, members can't just troll or flame to their desires while gaining posts.

Like a "Casual"" section that you are not given post counts and RG points for posting in.
Something like RSBuddy's "Casual"
You can create a new award like "King Of Casual"
Interesting suggestion.
I support.

Can you change it so you can't?

EDIT: Hell, better yet, just don't accept reports from that section. Much easier and way more cost effective.

Even if this was made they wouldn't allow flaming which would make the section The Lobby.

Explain why they wouldn't? I'm sure the staff would enjoy visiting a section and have a cute flame war with someone :3

Better out than in.

Actually post count and RG points should remain inside this section should it be made. I'd think others and myself wouldn't run rampant on the section spamming such things as "loel03l40lelol cul story faget le legun is hurr". As long as the posts are relevant to each other then there -should- be no harm done to anything at all.

If the above remains inside, the section would be the same as the current "Lobby" section won't it?
Whereas if no post counts or RG Points are implemented in each post, members would be allowed to be free and express their inner self in which is not allowed in the Lobby section.

Well, now that I think of it RG points could be gained there easily so that could be disabled. Post count shouldn't though as you're still contributing to the basic look of our communities activity.

RAF banned someone today for stating his opinion about the forum. No way in hell they would allow flaming.

I would hardly call it stating opinion, when the user has problems... The user RAF banned is just.... better not saying it.

There are many complications with this section

1) It brings negative influences to RuneGear
2) The flaming would start even more then it is now, all over the forum
3) No-one would post in different sections

Although the 18A + Section isn't that bad of an idea.
