Suggest a laptop

Well I recently sold my Macbook pro. I need a laptop for college. I just wanted a windows machine. I'm in computer science so something that I can program on and that will run programs smoothly.

My budget it $900.

I'd like to have an i7, but if I can't fit that in the budget then an i5 will be fine.

That's what I would buy if I had $900 to budget. It's $30 over but it's worth it, and it will last you a long time.

I've seen the IdeaPads. I don't like them that much. Just feels uncomfortable.
