If you don't know what to get, I suggest the valve pack. It's only 50$, and comes with games like CSS, CS1.6, HL2, HL, Portal1/2, and TONS more.

Steam is quite the thingy lol. dont know what to call it. but ive had for about 7-8 years now and i still play to this day. i remember back in 3rd grade my dad showed me it and i couldnt stop playing CS and DOD. Best shit out there for any desktop games. i mean they have them all you can download over the internet. XD

Todays daily deals are looking quite dull though. Makes me sad.
