Steam Fucked Me?

so my gmail email was closed and that email on the steam was the one that was closed i contacted them through support and told them what happened the responded back for proof like credit card # that i did a transaction with or paypal i put both like transaction numbers and all those etc. and it has been 2 weeks since then and no response and it took them a day before to respond was i just fucked?
