For all that don't know what work experience is, it's going out to work for a week with anyone you choose, without being paid. to experience the real world.

Engineering takes a lot of math, but I'd like to pursue being a welding engineer.

Yeah, i was suppose to do that last year through my school, they never set it up for me -.- so i never got it, which is a pain uggh, but good luck man, enjoy it

Just got back, a solid 8hours making chain, got a little boring at times, nevertheless, it was interesting.

Work experience is good to have especially. It seems more prestigious if you're doing it, being aware of no pay.
Right now I have a part time job at a Rite Aid, and it's all right.
The people that walk in sometimes are just plain obnoxious, but that's everywhere.
I don't work many days, but the days I do covers enough hours to get decent pay at $8/hour.
Especially in this horrible economy, me wanting a job had me resort to this as it was the only opportunity I had.
But once you start a career, and do it everyday, you'll either love it or hate it.
Personally, go with something you love. 3
But congrats on the work, it'll get you far as long as you put your mind to it.
