Staking question (boxing)

A quick question, why do people keep changing their attack style in boxing (duel arena)?

What does that achieve over just keeping it to one attack style?
 
People think it does something wheb it really doesn't here's how it goes winning accurate style losing defence style
 
I though they done defensive when the other character goes to punch and accurate when they go to punch
 
It's an old myth from runescape classic, most people "Kited" there though.
 
I would switch to defensive when they hit me and switch to accurate when I attack and throw in some kicks every once in a while.

I'm not too sure I just feel like the blocking style should be used when blocking and accurate or kick when hitting, just seems like what should sensibly done.
 
It all ends up being luck anyway
