I think that all global moderators should be required to wear the staff userbar at all times. Simply because it helps new members, and it would be easier for people to fine you. People should be coming to you for help not just admins.

Kirby has the right idea wearing it, and it hould e mandatory for all global mods[/i]
 
No it shouldn't It limits our freedom if they really want to contact staff all they have to do is look us up.

The reason on why I agreed is because if you do not have the staff user bar you do not show up as staff on the Forum Team page.
 
Or, instead, they should have a second userbar, with staff on it.

Yea I looked at that

All they need to do is update the

Portion and we would always been a message away if needed.

We shouldn't be forced to wear the staff userbar.
 
Second userbar would look dumb,

all Staff and Mods should wear it at least 5 days a week, Weekends are like their off days,
if they can't comply with this, simply retire and become ex-staff.

I agree with Ace. It's just a simple look up away, if you really want to contact a member of staff team, simply look them up?
 
There no reason for all that.

All that needs to be done is to update the Team page to where even if we're not wearing the staff userbar we will still be in the staff section.
 
Not everyone can operate to the forum team page. What if its someone's first forum?

It should be worn, or if not the page has to be updated. One or the other make it happen, cause I don't know who's staff and who's not in total. So imagine new members trying to find staff all they see Is 1 inactive and Kirby.
 
All that needs to be done is to update the page if they are new to the forums and don't have enough smarts to navigate there way to the Team page they can just ask.
 
I know I'm mod but I've been wearing my userbar since May
I kinda agree with this it's confusing when people don't wear the staff userbar, and the forum team page needs updating.
 
But mainly I don't like wearing the staff userbar because Purple looks so bad for staff.

But I am willing to compromise if the Team page is not fixed by this week I will wear the staff userbar until it does get fixed.
 
It's still like a job ace, even in construction there are hard hats to tell you what rank someone is

well sticky a thread of the current staff. Because if a mod paid to be in a group, it would be dumb for them not to be able to wear it.
 
They should just update the team page with a link to their profile, simple as that.
 
The Forum Team Page has been coded with MyBB to show Global Mods with Staff as display group. It can't be edited. As for that fact, we are making some arrangements. I wear the Staff userbar but at times I use Element because I own it.
 
I understand this suggestion because the staff members should be wearing their badge at all times to help new members, others that aren't aware and generally makes the site look more professional.
