You are correct. I don't see why it would be that hard for them to put a system in like that.
 
Yeah. That's ther only thing you can do, because, the only other consoles your account should have is your friends'. So, they just give you the option to make them have your password to sign in.

If you could remove all consoles, every GT could easily be jacked. They do that for a reason, the one stated above.
