SOTW?

I haven't seen this competition anymore on this forum. When I was in RuneRevolution we had those, and when it was sold and merged here in RG there were also SOTW competitions.
I think there are a few members here that have some good skills with Photoshop, and they would like to show them.

For this, it would be simple. There could be an account named SOTW, that everyone in the staff would have access to. And also a section named SOTW in the Graphics tab/section (I think this already exists).
Every week the SOTW account would make a thread for people to enter, and then the people will send in a PM their image to the account SOTW, also people will need to post in the thread something like "sent my entry".
The signatures must not have the names of the people on them so then it doesn't becomes a popularity contest.
And then the SOTW account simply makes a thread with a poll and all the images there, for people to vote. (Of course people can't vote for theirself) And for the winner an award called "SOTW Winner" (do we have it already?)

I don't know, I think they should be back.
I'll do this if no one in the staff is willing to do this.

I think it's a good idea and could be used in the future. Maybe the schematics could be changed, but yes the idea is good.

I will get back to when we have made a decision.

If enough people reply to this thread it is a possibility but the SOTW seemed pretty dead if you asked me.

By the way, if SOTW comes back the SOTW account should be created, so people know that it is official.

total support. I always wanted SOTW on runegear. Also it would be awesome to have a SOTW award. And i think a cool way to decide SOTW themes would be if the last victor decided the theme. The first one could be freestyle or anything like that. Just sayin' dont mind me.

I don't really see a need for the account if a staff member (probably oxide) makes the thread it will be official

SOTW should come back once there's a larger, active member base.

We can have it if we have a larger base of people willing to participate in the contest,why have 12k members,1 SOTW,3 entries.
So lets just wait and see.

Hope this is implemented. I would gladly participate.

This will just get inactive. There is no point in starting it.

I am going to make a thread and set it up tonight, I just need a list of participants who are willing to do it... Maybe I'll even have an award for a winner eventually or something.

Make it SOTM(signature of the month) I doubt that many people will participate weekly. But good idea, I support it.
