Mainstream music is marketed and portrayed by the media as some fairytale fantasy living the good life bullshit. I am above listening to repetitive choruses with autotune that talk about having swag and money.

No I don't. I know most about rock/metal/grunge/deathcore/acoustic music but I know plenty of hip hop that is good.

My guess is that DnB is either some kind of instrumental only genre or a musical group..

I'm not sure if he did make the beat or not. But I'm glad you liked him. He's really only know around my part of Mass, but I've been trying to get his name out there.
