Nah but for real, it's hot. i personally have a strict taste for old school music, but this is actually really nice. Your friend has alot of potential talent.
 
It's not really my type of music but its not that bad.
It sounds just like that mainstream stuff everybody seems to like.
 
It's really good. He could compete with Mac.

EDIT: The beats needs to go a little harder at a few points throughout the song. It's a tad repetitive.

What do you mean by mainstream exactly? The College rapper scene type thing..? I'm just wondering because I don't judge music by trends I simply decide whether or not I like a song, but am always open to new material.

by mainstream he means similar to the Mac Miller kind of style.. but over a nice beat, Mac Miller can sound great to anyone.. I feel the same way about this guy.. His lyricism isn't bad, (the beat isn't bad either in my opinion) but if he upped the level on both of those he would definitely be able to make something of himself
