Call of Duty Something new for WW2 shooters

In every WWII shooter, like the classic COD games, they follow the real events of WWII. While I am a WWII fanatic, I would also like to see a WWII shooter that explores what never happened.

For example, instead of dropping the A-bombs on Japan, it could have America invading the mainland, or Germany winning over Russia, or basically anything that didn't happen, like an alternate universe.

Anyone else agree?

If a game was like that, then it wouldn't be called a WW2 shooter.
