So I remember having all the 1 letter gamertags written down and I usually just check if any are taken and I noticed M was taken. Does anyone know how people can just take 1 letters?

If you don't believe it was just taken send it a f/r.
 
That would be a Microsoft Employee, if the tag was non-existent before which is probably true with how you worded.
 
So wait... you had to... write down all of the 1 letters to remember them? You do realize that it's just the alphabet, right?

I thought the same thing. I don't get why you would write them down though. Near impossible to get a 1 letter
