people who get on those need to expand their network, they invite their friends. And those friends, in turn, invite their friends.So,people have connection to each other throughout the world. If used properly, social networks can be a great way to enhance knowledge.

I agree. They can be. They can also be used the wrong way though. I really enjoy the networking sites that I use but sometimes I feel they take up too much of people's time.
