Social Issue Topic

So I have an assignment which is an oral presentation, to find an article on a social issue and speak about it. problem is i dont want to do some overused topic like bullying and shit.
So anyone got any suggestions of which social issue i should cover?

You could talk about how people shouldnt group themselves within a specific conglomerate of people. If people could just learn to get along with each other, no matter what their interests/hobbies were, perhaps we could share our ideas and create a much more advanced AND peaceful world.

thats w good idea but i doubt i can find an article on that. maatter of fact atm i cant find articles on any social issue :/

Could narrow your search down. Hope it helps.

You could do a subtopic of bullying (kinda) and do something like depression or suicide.
