Smithing Guide by Reptarr
Hello, all. I want to start making a skill guide for all the skills in runescape. I will basically keep it very simple and to the point , so you can achieve 99 in that goal.

1 - Smithing Introduction!
Smithing is a production skill through which players may create a wide variety of metal items from ore and metal bars. It is the companion skill of Mining, which generates all of the raw materials used in Smithing. Ores acquired from Mining are smelted into metal bars at furnaces, and then hammered into items at anvils. Many smithable items are useful in combat, quests, and the training of a number of other skills such as Crafting and Fletching.
1.1 - Quests which gives Smithing experience!
This are basicly just quests which are giving you "free" smithing experience, if you're getting bored by running back, bank and anvil.
Free to Play quests:
The Knight's Sword - Awarding you with 12.725 Smithing experience.
Pay to Play (Members) quests:
Recipe of Disaster - Awarding you with 1.000 Smithing experience.
Elemental Workshop III - Awarding you with 2.000 Smithing experience.
The Giant Dwarf - Awarding you with 2.500 Smithing experience.
Heroes' Quest - Awarding you with 2.575 Smithing experience.
Between a Rock... - Awarding you with 5.000 Smithing experience.
Elemental Workshop I - Awarding you with 5.000 Smithing experience.
Devious Minds - Awarding you with 6.500 Smithing experience.
Cabin Fever - Awarding you with 7.000 Smithing experience.
Elemental Workshop II - Awarding you with 7.500 Smithing experience.
Defender of Varrock - Awarding you with 10.000 Smithing experience.
A Clockwork Syringe - Awarding you with 18.000 Smithing experience.
The Void Stares Back - Awarding you with 20.000 Smithing experience.
Rocking Out - Awarding you with 25.000 Smithing experience.
Love Story - Awarding you with 40.000 Smithing experience.
King of the Dwarves - Awarding you with 50.000 Smithing experience.
1.2 - Things that might help you!
This is basicly minigame stuff, or quest obtained gears.
Temporary Boosts (Potions):
Dwarven Stout - Boosts Smithing and Mining by 1.
Mature Dwarven Stout - Boosts Smithing and Mining by 2.
Skillcape - Wearing any Skillcape will boost you're skill by 1 - Automaticly!
Mini-game obtained:
Brawler Gloves (Smithing) - Will last for quite a while, but will turn into dust (x2 Experience)
Volatile Clay Hammer - Will randomly transform into another skill-based item (x2.2 Experience)
Sacred Clay Hammer - Will turn into dust, after all charges are used (x2 Experience)
1.3 - Benefits of 99 Smithing!
Barrows Repairs - Example, if you're 99 Smithing and wearing an Smithing Skillcape, you will have Level 100 Smithing, which will cut 50% off the price. If you're only 50 Smithing, 25% will be cut off you're price.
Stealing Creation - At level 20 smithing, you can start smithing level 2 Clays at Stealing Creation. At level 40 Smithing, you can start smithing level 3 Clays at Stealing Creation. At level 60 Smithing, you can start smithing level 4 Clays at Stealing Creation. At level 80 Smithing, you can start smithing level 5 Clays at Stealing Creation.
Dragon Square Shield - At level 60 Smithing, after you've done the Legends Quest, you can combine a Shield left half and a Shield right half, together and make a Dragon Square Shield.
Beacons - At level 70 Smithing, you can repair the ladder at the Beacon, in the level 38 Wilderness.
Godsword Blades - At level 80 Smithing, you can combine 3 Godsword Shards into a Godsword Blade.
Sigils - At level 85 Smithing and 90 Prayer, you can attach a Sigil to a Blessed Spirit Shield, which will make either a Arcane-, Divine-, Spectral- or a Elysion Spirit Shield.
Dragonfire Shield - At level 90 Smithing, you can attach a Draconic Visage to a Anti-Dragon Shield, which will make a Dragonfire Shield.
Dragon Platebody - At 92 Smithing, after you've done the quest, While Guthix Sleeps, you can merge Ruined Dragon-, Lump, Armor Slice and Armor Shard, into a Dragon Platebody, using the Blast Fusion Hammer, at a Dragon Forge.
Effigies - At 92, 94, 95, 97 Smithing, you can open effigies. And assist people with you're 92, 94, 95, 97 Smithing, and get 30.000 each day.
2 - 1-99 Smithing Fast, Cashy!
P2P should use Edgeville Furnance. F2P should use Alkarid Furnance.
1-15 - est 193 Bronze Hatchets, you will need 193 Bronze Bars to make these.
15-20 - est 55 Bronze 2H Swords, you will need 165 Bronze Bars to make these.
20-31 - est 208 Iron Scimitars, you will need 416 Iron bars to make these.
31-39 - est 251 Iron Platelegs, you will need 753 Iron Bars to make these.
39-48 - est 429 Steel Warhammers, you will need 1.317 Steel Bars to make these.
48-68 - est 2.785 Steel Platebodies, you will need 13.925 Steel Bars to make these.
68-88 - est 15.123 Mithril Platebodies, you will need 75.615 Mithril Bars to make these.
88-99 - est 27.676 Adamant Platebodies, you will need 27.676 Adamant Bars to make these.
2.1 - 1-99 Smithing Slow, Cheap!
P2P should use Edgeville Furnance. F2P should use Alkarid Furnance.
