Signature Help Pls

How does one put a gif in his signature? Would it be the same as a regular picture? Because that has not worked for me me, a question mark pops up when I do so, if anyone could help me please let me know.
 
Upload it to imgur and right click then get the image address link and put it in normal as a picture.

Could you hop in a Skype call so I can share my screen to see if you can help me? I do all that but it still seems to not work
