Shrimps in coconut milk-- Ginataang hipon

This native dish really gives the best taste of shrimps with coconut milk. It's delicious that even the aroma emphasizes the taste of the dish.
Must try!!!

1 cup coconut milk
1 kilo shrimps, cleaned
1 onion, sliced
salt to taste
2 cups kangkong leaves
finger peppers

Procedure
1. Cook the coconut milk until it boils.
2. Add the shrimps and onion. Simmer for minutes.
3. Season with salt, then add the kangkong and finger peppers.
 
Wow this looks delicious and it looks easy to prepare. I think I will love this because there is kangkong. I bet your boyfiend's gonna get fat if you keep cooking. Hahaha. Thanks for the recipe.
 

Do we have to remove the shrimp's shell? wanna try this.

Thanks! haha.. I would be very happy for that! I also substitute squash and string beans to kangkong for a great taste. You must try it!

It is usually depends upon you, but I usually don't take off the skin of the shrimp to maintain its firm flesh. I also substitute squash and string beans for a great taste as well.. hope you'll like it!
